Auscarbon has gained extensive experience and knowledge from :
- establishing over 10,000 hectares of biodiverse carbon sinks
- gaining accreditation under Gold Standard – an internationally recognised carbon standard
- gaining accreditation under Greenhouse Friendly
- successful abatement claims and dealings with DCCEE
- successful offset contracts negotiated to supply 562,500 tCO2e over 30 years
- delivery of the first 18,750 tCO2e (credits) under the contracts in 2011
- development of IP to enable large-scale planting capacity
- a proven management team
- delivering covenants to protect native bushland and habitats
- reclaiming large areas of salt affected farm land
Non-viable farm land is now sequestering large volumes of carbon and is returning to its original bio-diverse state.
